Forum Thread: If I Have Access to an Extension Router, Do I Have Access to the Entire Network?

Say I connect to a wifi router, but it happens to be a network extension, am I still connected to all the machines on the wifi network? Or am I only going to have access to the machines that are linked to the extension?

I know this seems like a pretty obvious answer, but the only dumb questions are the ones you don't ask..

its my understanding that extenders create an additional network so you would have access to host on that network but not the original network
