Hi there adding "ServerName localhost" to the apache2.conf or httpd.conf and restarting apache should fix the hostname error although in my experience its more of an advisory and works without fixing it as far as your directory issue goes it sounds like your missing you index.HTML or whichever file extenstion your working with from your root directory
