HTTP tunneling is a pretty famous way.

There are a number of ways to bypass firewalls depending upon what you want to do. It also depends upon how the firewall is blocking you. Is it blocking you by IP address, port, content, etc.? If you give me more info, I may be able to help. As, Dhiraj says, HTTP tunneling is one way.

Different firewalls have different features. The basic firewall just filters by IP and port, but modern firewalls are far more sophisticated.

You can learn a lot about the firewall by doing recon with nmap and hping. Tale a look at my recon articles using those.
