Yes, darkcomet is RAT. Try armitage (graphical version of metasploit).
But would armitage only work on LAN?
That is true, but metasploit work on wan, if you open port on your router of course. Only con is lack of graphics. In my opinion, GUI is not that much important. Cheers!

As far as I know, Armitage is just a GUI of Metasploit, so I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work on WAN. You should just have to port forward.
