I am using Cygwin(Linux terminal for Windows) I am trying to configure eddgdrop by typing "./configure" and got this error
any one can help me with this error ????? PLZ I am new to Linux environment . I installed Cygwin to windows 8.1 64-bit.

Install GCC (the c compiler) through Cygwin, and give it another go.
It's obvious from the error message that you need to install a c compiler...
