Forum Thread: How to Get IP Address of a Wireless AP Without Connecting to It.

I'm looking for a way to get the IP address of a wireless AP which is in the range of my wireless antenna. currently i have its MAC address, security type, AP name. I've used vistumbler to get these information. is there any way to do that? Kali? thanks!

@Romeo Could you elaborate more on which sniffing tool should i use for that? do you mean to set the airodump-ng capture packets for hand-shake then look into that? is it possible that i can find the AP IP address in the .cap file ?
