hello guys. I am new to Null Byte. I was wondering if Linux is necessary for using all these tools. I read fair bit of articles and in each of those Linux was used.
I am active Windows user, though I know fair bit of linux.

Any serious hacker will use Linux; there is just no debate about it. Most, if not, all tools are created specifically for Linux.
If you want success, go with Linux.
