Forum Thread: Is It Require to Have Both Software and Hardware Firewall??

Having a software firewall and a Router firewall together be required? or is this over the top? I would guess having both firewalls secures you from the outside world and also you local network.

If u can, buy a Firewall hardware, it would be great. But if not, you can always use a Firewall software and it will work as it should.
