Could you please link the tutorial you used? Also, what operating system are you using to make the live USB?

As of kali 2.0, a lot of persistence methods are now outdated, you can read about making bootable USBs from the kali docs, and making them persist from this along with this.

Did you get the same steps as in the pictures or not, if not what step was different .

@baghdadi i followed the same steps

I followed that same tutorial to a tee, using win7 64bit and it worked just fine. Perhaps you should format the drive and try again.
