Forum Thread: New Hardware Firewall Question

Recently, I acquired a free TZ Dell SonicWALL. Just curious to know how it compares with other hardware firewalls. Also, does anyone know what the "Gold Standard" of hardware firewalls is?

There are many TZ class SonicWalls. What model do you have?

It's a TZ 105, it doesn't seem that sophisticated but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to even use it.

That is there home/small business model. Better than nothing.

I would say the Gold Standard, presently, are the Palo Alto Networks' firewall. Many cost over $100,000.
