Forum Thread: OS, Software & Plugin Tips?

Hey guys, I'm totally new to hacking and it would be awesome if you guys could give me some tips on OS, Software and what hardware to use.

If you're totally new then Backtrack is a good OS to use, it includes a lot of good software on it like Metasploit and Aircrack.

I would agree, get Back Track 5 and try to follow some of my tutorials in Null Byte. Nearly all of them use Metasploit in Back Track.
