Forum Thread: Strange Problem with Port Forwarding

Hello guys, i think you are the only ones who can help me. I have tp-link router, and parrot os. I opened port on router page, port I opened is 4444. Everything is done correctly but on canyouseeme.org, my port is not opened ! When I run terminal and type nc -l -p 4444 and check on site, it says port is open. So, can someone explain what is wrong? I am losing my sanity because of that...

Oh, forget to mention, after nc is done with listening, port is not opened, again.

Okay, I managed it to work, wrote something in python, simple while loop, and port is opened as long as "script" works. Thanks anyway.
