Forum Thread: What is this application?

Pretty sure you can use rss if you want to monitor something like this.

RSS would work for news sites and blogs but I think he is more asking about for the whole internet. Maybe an application that auto searches Google for this stuff.

You can spider different search engines like y!, google, yandex, etc with a script and make it output via rss. Or look into Google Alerts. The DIY part is more fun tho.

What is rss?

RSS is a protocol to present information in a standard, organized way. You can aggregate news from different websites and read partial contents in a convenient way.

But of course a google search will tell you more in details.

Thanks for comments. Now i am trying to build a script, this will search all the search engines per 5 minutes. But i have no idea how to do, if anyone wants to help i will be very thankful.
