Forum Thread: What Is the Best (Most Effective and Efficient) Way to Learn Hacking from Scratch?

Aim

I want to become a competent hacker, but have only recently become interested in learning the ins and outs, so I have very little knowledge about hacking in general.

Skills

I am fluent in HTML, CSS, and somewhat in JS, although I imagine this is not too relevant. I also have a very general understanding of networks, shells, and Linux.

Approach

My plan of attack to date has been to locate relevant and useful information and then immerse myself in it. However, I feel as though my approach lacks structure, which I believe is partially due to the lack of information available online.

Any help from senseis would greatly appreciated! If for whatever erason anybody is interested in taking on an apprentice, that would also be fucking amazing. <3
