Forum Thread: Wireless Adapter, Virtualbox, Can Find Networks and Surf the Web but That's It,

Hi, i am trying to learn kali linux, i am currently running it in virtual box but i am having issues with my wireless adapter in the sense that, i can use it to detect networks and surf the web however i can not use it to do any monitoring/auditing it says the device can not be found. for example when launching fern i am unable to launch scans because it does not find an interface. i have gotten VB extensions and setup as usb 2.0 then 3.0 and nothing would very much appreciate any help. the usb adapter i am using is a TP-Link TL-WN722N.
