Never. WEP is not obsolete, it is flawed.
Rumors and mind you rumors say it wwas cracked few years ago but no PoC so as it stands today WPA2 will never be cracked. (never say never)

there are servers online that you can pay for ,to crack the hash you obtained from scanning.
I have an external paraolic WiFi antenna with a WiFi repeater. I was wondering if I can us kali Linux to hack WiFi passwords using the antenna and repeater. And if so, where would I find the process on how to do this?

Which is better to use backtrack or kali
They are both good. Since Backtrack is no longer supported, I recommend you use Kali.
