Create a Local AP and Show a Node-Red Dashboard

Dec 9, 2018 07:43 PM

Hello!

I installed Node-Red on my laptop (Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS) and i created a dashboard which has the address http://xxx.xxx.xxx.x:1880/ui . If i connect with my smartphone to the same local network and i digit on the browser the address i can see the dashboard.

What i want to do now is to make my PC an access point (no internet, just a local network) with an automatic redirect to the dashboard: it's something like a captive portal, but instead of the login page i want to see the dashboard.

I found some tutorials about how to create a classic bridge AP, but i don't know what to do to modify it, does anybody know what should i do?

Thank you for your attention!

PS. I also have an old netbook with Kali Linux and node-red installed, so i can use it if necessary.
