How to Hack into a Passkey Protected and Hidden "Ghost" USB Device That Doesn't Mount and Isn't Detected by the PC?

I have found an old USB keylogger that I bought a couple of years ago. Its and male/female USB adapter that connects between the PC and the keyboard to record keystrokes.

Once it has collect its data the owner enters a 3 character key to reveal the devive and view the txt file containing the collected keystrokes...

Unfortunately, it has been so long thag i can no lobger remember the 3 digit passkey. So the computer dosent even register that there is a USB connected and thus rendering it unusable.

Unless anyone knows a method of forcing the USB to reveal itsself or bypassing the passkey to collect the data??

Any suggestions?
