I noticed there's a script called "katoolin" that installs Kali's tools into Ubuntu, i wanted to know if anybody here tried this and if it's a suitable replacement of Kali. I would try it myself, but i have never used Kali to give a good enough feedback. Here's a link: http://www.techrepublic.com/article/pro-tip-install-kali-linux-tools-on-ubuntu-with-this-easy-script/

I saw this tool the other day and used it to install the full kali setup on my minimal install on the Rpi,
But to install the tools into Ubuntu, kinda defeats the object?
it would kinda be like having a windows computer but wanting to use applications designed for mac or linux, why not just get the actual OS system which is free?
it works to a certain extent but why not partition your hard-drive and put the Operating System on it instead...
Be careful when installing if you dont have your OS backed up because you may get broken packages and also some of the tools may not work and aren't the most recent updated packages....So your better off just installing Kali on a partition or another hard-drive
I have installed Katoolin for four times now and broke ubuntu four times.. problems comes on the login screen. cant get pass that whatsoever. And than it breaks if you change or remove Desktop environment to solve login/boot issues.
