How to Unlock Android Phone with Unresponsive Screen

I broke my nexus 6 and the screen is now completely black, I'd like to get the rest of my non backed up files off of the broken phone but because the screen isnt responsive, I cannot unlock my pattern. Ill do anything to retrieve what i'm looking for including hacking my own device. Any solutions?
