Using a Raspberry Pi with the Laptop

Hi!

I would like someone to answer me this question because I have seen nothing on the internet. I was wondering if you could use your Raspberry Pi with your laptop as a screen for NULL BYTE attacks. There are some videos on YouTube about how could you use your laptop as a Raspberry Pi screen, but you have to connect it with an ethernet cable and I'm not sure if this is dangerous for "hacking" or it just behave like a normal screen.

Thank you.
