On Which Does Kali Linux Run Best: Mac or Microsoft Computers?

I'm getting a new laptop in a while, and I definitely plan on running Kali Linux on it. My dad thinks I should stick with MacOS, whereas I want to try out something new and have a go with a Windows laptop running Kali Linux.

This raised a question:

On which platform (Platform? I think that's about right.) does Kali run best? Mac or Microsoft laptops/computers?
