Forum Thread: ZIP Files Sometimes Gives an Error

We've had complaints about corrupt zipped files on our website. I was able to repair one but the other is a collection of files that sometimes gives an error about split or spanned files.

Any suggestions?

Can you convert into a self extracting executable? Otherwise you could consider serving these winzip recovery files via ZIP Recovery Toolbox http://www.oemailrecovery.com/zip_recovery.html

You can also disable cache on your download page, so that proxy servers don't cache a half downloaded file. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/222064
