How To: Make a Personal Diary with Notepad!

Make a Personal Diary with Notepad!

Welcome back, my neophytes!

Many of you might have a personal diary and might think Why do I spend so much time to write in the damn diary? or Why waste money on the diary, even though you would be wanting it? It's time you found out a solution!

Today, I will teach you how to make a personal diary with notepad or a digital diary.

Step 1: What Do I Need?

Making the Digital Diary (from now onwards I will call it as "DD") is really easy! All you need is:-

  1. Windows OS
  2. Notepad
  3. This tutorial!

That's it, so let's start making it!

Step 2: What to Do?

  • First, open Notepad.
  • Enter ".LOG" without the quotes in the very first line. NOTE : This trick won't work if you type it in any other line.
  • Save The file as "anything.txt" and exit Notepad.
  • Reopen the file again, and bravo!

When you open the file the second time, you should see the current date and time in the last line. You can enter your entry here as save your file. The next time you open it, the current date and time will be displayed after the last line of your latest entry!

Now What?

That's it, and the project is finished. Remember to add any flaws you find in this in the comments and give KUDOS!

Well, these same programs? No. The same idea? Probably.

i already knew Notepad wouldn't work on Linux (i'm not THAT new to this, cracker ;)), but i was curious on how i would make such a diary on Linux, because i don't use windows.

Yeah, I was wondering there for a moment thinking I read it wrong...

Don't worry, I will search for a way to do it and make a post on it, too!
