News: God's Eye

God's Eye

If you have seen the movie Fast and Furious 7, you know what "God's Eye" is. Well this might spark interest to you.

If You Don't Know

if you don't know what God's Eye is, basically it's a software that is able to access any phone, camera, microphone, anything that is digital, God's Eye is able to hack into it, and see what is around this digital object, and find anybody anywhere in the world. Of course all of this would take a lot of space to store, and a lot of fucking gigs. Anyhow. To process this data, it would need a massive hardware right? Well in the movie all of this is simply stored on a flash drive.

God's Eye

I have been doing a lot of thinking regarding wether or not it's possible to create such software that will be able to process so much information and data like God's Eye.

Is It Possible?

I think potentially it is possible to create a software, only it wouldn't be exactly like the one in the movie, and for many reasons. For example because phones doesn't record all the time, so they wouldn't be able to get a photography from the person in the car next to them. But I think if you were to take up the task on creating it, it would be possible, only with fewer possibilities.

What If?

And what if you created it, where would you store all of this massive data? Not on a USB drive as it would be way too much data. So I think the question is more, is it possible to create this software being only one person, or would you need at least a few people to pull it off? Right now my intentions are not to create this software because it would create a lot of attention from many agencies and companies, and very dangerous as well.

But really, where would you store a software like this?

What About Consequences?

If you after years have finally finished creating this software, what would happen?

Would the Feds knock on your door and put you in cuffs? Or would you be offered from several agencies a massive amount of money if you sold it to them? Because if you haven't used it for malicious intentions, why would they arrest you as it would legitimately be a software? Could you be considered a threat to agencies and companies?

What About You?

What do you think? Do you think this is possible? How many years would it take, how many people?

Would you be getting a new room next to a rapist (jail cell)

Or would you be considered a hero because you just saved NSA a lot of time and effort, and given them unlimited ressources and put every other hacker on this planet in serious danger?

If there is anything you disagree with, please leave it below to discuss. And PLEASE tell me your opinions on this, as I think it's potentially possible to create this software with enough hardware and people and time of course.

Well, I actually think that it might be possible, but the malware will be huge. Imagine a virus that had every tool available in Kali Linux (which you should really check out at www.kali.org) and knew how to use it!

Surely it would be much easier to set up a script that would automatically grab random IP addresses, store them in a secure database and present all of this on top of Google Maps, and did an automatic vulnerability scan?

Services like the one I described kinda do exist (like shodan.io), but they are nowhere near God's Eye.

I think having a virus having every tool availbale from Kali Linux is interesting if someone were able to create such malware.

I few a few thoughts on this subject.

First, you wouldn't need all the tools of Kali on the target. Just a rootkit that could be very small that would send all the data to a remote server.

Second, if you built this software it would be worth millions, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars.

Third, if you actually installed it, it would be a federal crime.

I do believe that is most certainly possible. I reckon it'll be about 10-15 years before that becomes available to the government(s).

Would you be getting a new room next to a rapist (jail cell)
No, as long as you made deals with certain governments (hint..hint...USA.)

Or would you be considered a hero because you just saved NSA a lot of time and effort, and given them unlimited resources and put every other hacker on this planet in serious danger?

You'd be hated by the public, but loved by the government(s). Which is a VERY sticky situation to be in.

Honestly, this isn't too far fetched. Now about 5-10 years ago, it would've been considered out-of-this-world impossible. But seeing how far technology has come in those past few years, I can still see there being many many milestones to come. Eventually we'll have "smart" A.I (like the movie i-robot) and a city that runs on a computer. (like the game watchdogs). I mean, heck, 5 years ago, you could get a 60 Gb HDD for around $60. Now, we're getting a Tb for around 40.

It is very true the technology has evolved a lot, and at some point there might be a software similar to God's Eye, but hopefully if it were to happen, i'm hoping it will be in the right hands.

Certainly and without any doubt, NSA can create 'God Eye.' It is possible
In fact you may never know, if there are currently working on it...

What NSA truly need is 'Brains.' They already have vast amount of money, and tools or equipment.

And Remember, if in the future NSA possess this much power, then The world we know it, will come to an end.

This power will be misused, Bear this in mind: A really simple formula: Greed + Power = Inevitable Disaster

I just hope NO MAN shall possess this much power.

I think you are most certainly right. NSA should never be able to have this much power in their hands, because it would change the perspective of technology if you ask me.

Personally, I depise the fast and furious movies, they're just so silly IMO, but thats another story.

Regarding the whole 'Gods Eye' idea. It's definitely possible. You would need to create a series of well built self replicating 0 days that nobody knows of; and have a team constantly developing new ones. You would then want them to beacon or phone home to some C&C server, it would work just like a P2P botnet of self replicating malware; that's stealthy too.

Another way would be to create large social networks that exist and get silly users to install their apps despite their hefty permissions, then just have the users hand over their data! Sound familar? :P Who says that the NSA isn't already doing this.

As for storage, why do you need any storage? Why not just stream when needed?

And finally, the consequences? You would need to go live in Russia or somewhere, be extremely careful, and offer to sell the software to the Russian state and or Chinese/US. If you could infect the entire population, you would also have absolute power to some degree. Access to any network, access to any figure.

It is very much possible, Last year, Sploit, 2 friends and I decided to setup a monitoring app that basically uses the school's cameras. And it was kinda cool, Our school has a lot of camera's around ( I mean everywhere even in the gents ). Sploit was able to pull an image recognition feature into the app which attracted a lot of attention from the school authorities. We just sit in the comfort of our dooms and run the app, It just streams the camera's web interface to the app and runs image recognition on the frames captured. What I liked specifically of the app was it's voice interface, It didn't have a nice UI though but the voice recognition wasn't bad either. So basically we could see where everyone was .

Eg: To find Emelia, you say, Zero, Where is Emelia.. Although the voice recognition wasn't quite good, the app did the work pretty well. ( Zero was the name of the app )

All what am trying to say is, The street camera's, home camera's, phones and everything we use have something that allows access to them or vulnerabilities in them. Street and home camera's have control centers that control them,Mobile phones communicate with servers in unknown and encrypted ways.

So just imagine an application having a long and wide range coverage, equipped with hacking tools and other attacks. It's highly possible. The government has satellites, sophisticated devices and technologies not yet known so from my perspective, it is very much possible.

What i noticed about God's eye was, It connected to some kind off satellite and basically used the satellite's features for it's own purpose. So like causing network jamming, The satellite has long range so can do that.

So once again from my own perspective, Its very much possible.
