It used to be that you only had to worry about maids rummaging through your belongings in your locked hotel room. But now anyone with 50 bucks of hardware and some programming skills can hack their way in—as long as it's locked by keycard.

This might be a really straight forward answer but googling is turning up anything concrete. I'm very familiar with using msfvenom to backdoor an existing exe with a payload. My question is, is it possible to generate a payload with veil-evasion (I personally like the python ones) and then use that payload to backdoor an existing exe?

Hi, i'm currently pentesting a network, i hacked into some cisco devices (switches, phones...), and the gateway specified in them is 192.168.1.254, i tried hacking it, started nmap'ing, using different scan types and commands, most of them said that all 1000 ports (which are the most important though) are filtered, and some said open|filtered, i couldn't even find what OS it uses (nmap -O ...)! i don't know anything about it! I don't know what type of devices is this, i couldn't access it using...

Ok. I'm a noob at this. I was just wondering. Could I use my own wifi to capture passwords and do various other things to people that hook up to it?
