Null Byte: Page 101

Hello friends,

In this simple tutorial you will be shown step-by-step how to write local shellcode for use on 64-Bit Linux systems. Shellcode is simple code, usually written in assembly that is used as payload in exploits such as buffer overflow attacks. Payloads are the arrow head of an exploit: though the rest of the arrow is important for the delivery of the attack, the arrow head deals the killing blow. In reality, payloads are slightly less exciting yet far more interesting and intelligent than medieval...

Having Been Aware of Innocently Getting on the Wrong Side of Someone Who I Know Is a Hacker, via Social Media, Is It Possible Please, That He May Be Able to Get Screen Grabs or Audio/Visual , as Occasionally, Without Any Logical Reason, My Android Tablet (that I use for Social Media) Flashes as if It Has Taken a Photo .. ?

Hey!

Sometimes when I am using Kali, and operating as root, I would like to be able to sign in to a website(for instance email) for various reasons. However, I have it in my head, that this is an unsafe thing to do while I am root user, and so avoid doing so. This can be inconvenient, as it means logging out and back in as normal user to do what I need to do. I must have read somewhere that it's unsafe to sign in online as root(to gmail/facebook/null-byte or anything... even through tor or...

Hi Guys,

Welcome back, my aspiring hackers!

HELLO.

i bought this adapter and have it connected to my yagi antenna.my problem is when i enter airodump it wont pick up any aps.

My Kali Linux was working fine, but now it seems I can't make any connections to other hosts on the network. I tried pinging another computer and got 100% packet loss. I also couldn't set up a phishing page with setoolkit, or anything else interesting. Here is my settings.

I'm about to get a wireless adapter but I'm not sure it will fix my issue with MiTM. I've heard that you need a wireless adapter to perform mitm on virtual box, so that's why I'm getting one. Any protests before I buy this thing? thanks

hello fellow hackers :)

Welcome back, my rookie hackers!

Hello,

I have tested this a bunch of times. Now it seems when I use setoolkit on my kali linux virtual box (bridged adapter through internet), I can only connect to my LAN ip address through my host machine, and not any other on my network. It's very odd. Any ideas as what could be happening? I already deleted my kali linux and I am downloading a new iso file now.

I want to understand the hacking methodology. How to do reconnaissance? How to make an exploit? Just want to know the process of hacking.
