Hi everyone! I'm making a reverse shell payload for OSX in the mach-o file format. When I transfer the file by usb the file remains a "Unix Executable file", but when I try to transfer it through dropbox or email it is converted into a text document and is not executed. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Simple question, is it possible to get a phone's IP address with the phone's number or within a skype call?

Welcome back, my tenderfoot hackers!

Welcome back everyone! It's been awhile hasn't it? Sorry for being so quiet, but my CCNA courses have really picked up recently. In the last article we covered how to import modules and how we can use them. In this article, we'll actually be covering a module that is essential to the hacking aspect of Python, sockets.

Is there any exploits that could be embeded into a simple picture or office/document type file that would work with Office 2003 Windows 7 SP1 updated? I know there is a RTF exploit for word 2003, but it does not work if the computer has been patched to SP1.

hi,

Hello

Is Lhost the IP adress I want my target machine to connect to? If so how do I what command do I use to target the machine I want in the first place. I would imagine that without my target machine's IP address I wouldn't be able to redirect it anyhow. Someone please explain to me Reverse shell, more specifically Lhost and how do I connect to my target machine.

Hi everyone. This is my first day having a an actual account, but a few you might know me from irc. Just wanted to say greetings and introduce myself.I plan on learning from you all and also maybe giving out some knowledge myself. I'm thinking about maybe doing a couple posts on x86 assembly for beginners, but I've been slightly busy lately, so I'm not sure when that will be. In closing, nice to meet you all!

Hey there people, I've been lurking around this site for a bit and decided to make an account, recently got a macbook pro and was wondering if anyone has any experience in using a macbook pro and the ups and downs when using it to hack.

So I'm using an Alfa wireless adapter with a laptop. I can deauth perfectly every time with it, but even though my devices reconnect ( at least two or three) I get no handshake. I'm using a live usb version of Kali linux. Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong?

Hello,So I'm trying to create a meterpterter session on my phone over WAN but it's not working. (It works fine on my local network)

I have a simple doubt. I have a web server with a static ip address in godaddy. can it be configured in such a way that i can use metasploit with that static ip address so that i can listen on that ip address?

I am wondering if a keylogger exists, where I can upload it via a meterpreter session, upload to the startup folder, and it logs the keystrokes to a file (or even to a specific ip), so that a constant meterpreter session is not required.

Since Ive started to learn about nmap and metasploit and other tools I was learning well but I had one problem,I had nothing to practice it on.As a result I asked someone about my problem and they told me about Vulnhub. It's a great way to practice. Its good beginners and people practicing for real ctf competitions alike. It was difficult to find how to set it up on Kali Linux so I decided to make this tutorial.

OK,

I have been at this since yesterday evening.

I just moded my phone via kingo root. then installed super su. i read the tutorial on xda dev. it rooted successfully and i got root access and all too. now i am trying to change my phone's rom. i have downloaded the zip file for my phone but i am unable to boot into recovery. i tried pressing the power and the volume down key together while startup but its not working. the simple startup occurs. Also i tried to install an apk which said would boot into recovery with one ouch. s i clicked on it...

Yo everyone! This is how ForLulz have hacked the CTF server:

This is the second installment of the short series on how to remove user passwords in Windows. Once again this has only been tested on Windows 7. If I can find some time between two jobs and school I'll test all the ways on Windows 10 and Windows 8/8.1.

I am thinking to get a SSL for my forum. Will it make my forum more secure against hackers who want to get user passwords etc.?

Greetings,

Hello there fellow Null Byte-ians! How are you all? It's been quite awhile since I've last been on here. I'm glad to see that everyone is still going strong.
