When I use meterpreter commands on a pc or android to do anything like snap a pic or install keylogger or something...Does it store logs into the victims pc or something??Does it save the keylogger??Does it save logs for which process was affected or something??If we install persistance.. how can we remove it so that it cant be traced back??

I am very new to Null Byte but I find much of its content and community incredibly interesting. I spent quite a bit of time just chronologically going through the posts and I noticed a common theme in many of the beginner posts. Hello HowTo users, I recently have been trying to Dual Boot Kali Linux on my computer. I got the iso image of the OS from the official Linux website, the version is 1.1.0a-amd64. I burned the image onto a blank CD (Maxwell DVD+RW 4.7 GB) I then restarted my system and booted into the CD but after a while of loading nothing appears, the monitor remains black. I'm running Windows 8.1 BTW and if I hit a couple keys after getting tired of waiting the system just boots into Windows.

Every successful hack must be backed by reconnaissance, this even applies to social engineering. This type of reconnaissance is slightly different however, it isn't recon of the machine, but of the user. Recon for social engineering can be done thorough watching the user's activity, seeing what sites they visit, and if they exhibit certain kinds of behavior....

when i see the kali boot menu and click "live USB encrypted persistent" nothing happens except the page is reloaded. All of the other settings are same. What should i do?
