I have your standard laptop computer with 6GB of RAM and a hard disk drive. It came with Windows 8 installed. I purchased a SSD to replace the HDD to make my computer faster. The SSD was too small however and I couldn't take it back. So I decided to dedicate the SSD to Kali Linux alone. I installed the SSD on my computer and then installed Kali Linux. There is plenty of space on my computer, 491.6 GB but I keep getting a warning that says I have low disk space.
When I check under 'disk usage' there's an image of a disk that shows you how much of it is full. Indeed, there is very little space left.
However, when you look at the numbers it shows 16.9 GB is being used of 491.6 GB that's available. What the heck is going on? I really wish I were able to upload pictures, but can't. I don't know what the hell is going on with that either. If someone can help, I'll be able to upload pics showing what I'm talking about.
