History of a Photo File (Where All It Has Been Viewed)

Is it possible to know the history of an image file .. i.e. from where it was originated or created (mac address or something like that). and where all it was transferred and at what time it was opened .

I have a image file in windows and I want to know how it looked before it was edited (if it was) or from which phone or computer the image was taken.

Any response is appreciated.

What you have described above is near impossible. The closest you can ever get to viewing past versions of an image file is by looking at the exif data and metadata.

Even then you are only likely to find very limited information such as camera type, geotag, and other minor details that have little to no significance in what you are trying to do. Good question though.
