Hoping someone might be able to give some light into the security issues of having an old systems such as windows NT or Windows 2000 running on a Vlan.
lets say a company needs to have these systems for software which is not supported by current OS Systems, so decides to place these system on a Vlan for security reasons. I know, why would a company do this!, but I have seen it before and it's pretty common!
My guess is a hacker would most likely have to attempt to do a Vlan hopping attack or a double tagging attack, once in, these system are so outdated they could be exploited!
