Forum Thread: how should I start from scratch. I'm a stupid kid

Ditch the self pity, pick up a couple books, and get working. Don't expect overnight results, stay away from metasploit if you can, and don't hack stuff you don't own.

as far as I can tell MOST of the guys on this website are stupid kids. at first, I thought might be a decent site now I realize its just a way to get yourself caught up...

Take some couple of beginer course and start learning from famous security blogs and books learn all common methadologies and master programming and networking and cryptography i have couple of courses that will be helpfull.

What free things can you recommend to learn those topics???
