Forum Thread: Linux Simulation

I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever heard of a Linux simulation learning center. My trade school had CCNA for windows and it gave u a video to listen and watch in the beginning. Then u would answer questions and near the end u would do a simulation to see if u understood the information and then take a test to move onto the next area. Any ideas?

Linux simulation? Sounds like a virtual machine to me. If you want to try out some linux things without damaging your computer, I would recommend using a virtual machine.

Virtual Box, and VMware are both software to run virtual machines.

To learn more about virtual machines, you can look Here for Virtualbox, and Here for VmWare.

Is that what you were looking for?
All the best - Cameron.

No sorry Cameron. Im looking for modules. A sandbox fused learning center where Im given a task shown the beginning project and what the end should look like. My job is to break it down through maybe a lesson plan and do the middle project. Look up CCNA A+ certification. This is what I mean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbKqRKGodTU
