i truly doubt that your router has a virus (make sure to keep the firmware updated it's a must) but be warned if your router is older than six (6) years man, it's gonna have an epic fail of some kind, fyi my wireless-g cisco linksys router would not keep passwords (the chip in it just plum wore out and it would not keep internet active for more than 4 days apart that, my aunt has the same exact router around 6-7 years old and it epic failed, would only show linksys as the connection through to modem, only modem settings could be access, no router settings whatsoever, could not get into router configuration, unplugged router went direct connect to modem and no issues... there you have it! also be warned make darn sure you have the exact firmware file for your router prior to flashing it, cheers! standp
hold the reset button...it ll go back to default and everything erased
