I am using Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and I want to do some hacking. I'm thinking is it worth to install Backtrack or customize Ubuntu to be like Backtrack?

Welcome to Null Byte! Glad you found us!
BackTrack is a distribution of Linux built on Ubuntu. It would take a considerable amount of time to customize your Ubuntu to be like BackTrack. I strongly recommend that you install BackTrack as a VM or as a dual-boot.

But what if I only use some tools on backtrack? I could still download and install them on Ubuntu :)
You can do that.
Don't be so limited you may better download backtrack.
What about Kali Linux? I heard it's newer than Backtrack and better? Is it truth?
Nerijus:
Kali Linux is newer, but newer is not always better. There are still some bugs in Kali and when they get those resolved, we will move to Kali.

popular hacking tools like nmap, aircrack-ng dan lain lain is can be installed inside ubuntu/mint, but for deeper and more complex attacking you should install backtrack
Nerijus Vilcinskas:
There is a reason BackTrack is the go-to distributable for security penetration.
You could take the time to install the tools required, or you could just install BackTrack.
The choice is purely yours.
