I Recently Manage to Boot into Kali Linux ,and the All Was Fine Except the Screen Resolution Was at 800x600.
I checked the setting>display and was unable to change resolution other than 800x600. I ran a xrandr command and it says:"Failed to get size of gamma for output default" and only says 800x600 was the max and min display. My laptop specs are as follow:
Asus ux303ub ,Nvidia 940m Intel i5 8gb of ram .
Is there any way to change my screen resolution?

Are you using Virtual machines? If you are using VirtualBox then download Virtualbox Guest Additions and install it, there should be alot of tutorials on the internet on how to do it, good luck!
