Hey everybody My friend gave me his anroid 4.4.2 and he forgot his pattern and I took his phone to data reset it so I can remove lock screen I tried everything but when I press volume + and power button it says like this:
MMI test
1.Full Test
2.Item Test
3.Test Info
4.Reset
and when I press Reset then Factory data reset comes then there is reset phone and again pattern comes up by saying Confirm your pattern and I am doing to remove that pattern.hope you understand my problem. plz give me good help.thank you.

What device is it in particular? Is it stock or does it have a custom ROM?
It's a chinese phone.
You may want to ask the forumers on xda-developers.
