Forum Thread: Data USB Dongles

The question is really simple: how safe are data USB dongles in maintaining your privacy? I'm talking about the ones were you really need to insert the USB on the computer, not the ones that create a small wi-fi network. Are they safer than the usual wi-fi home connection? This assuming that you can get them without giving away your personal details and that you use every regular method to keep you anonymous.

Forum Thread: Raspberry Pi and Null Byte Feed

Is there a way that I could download each article from null-byte through my raspberry pi and store the webpage and all it's content on an external harddrive. I was thinking about terminal scripts. I'm not looking for a gimme, more of a push in the right direction towards the information.

Forum Thread: Kali Linux, Rolling Edition Released with Kernel 4.3, Gnome 3.1

What's New in Kali Rolling? Kali Rolling Release vs Standard Releases To get a better understanding of the changes that this brings to Kali, a clearer picture of how rolling releases work is needed. Rather than Kali basing itself off standard Debian releases (such as Debian 7, 8, 9) and going through the cyclic phases of “new, mainstream, outdated”, the Kali rolling release feeds continuously from Debian testing, ensuring a constant flow of the latest package versions.

Forum Thread: Breaking the Bank

Heyyy mates. I've been really procrastinating lately, like..major procrastination. Getting to the point, I could use some help finishing Article 1 of a series that I briefly mentioned last December. Message me and I'll show you the article and you could maybe provide me with some suggestions or edits.

Forum Thread: Null-Byte CTF Organizers

I am thrilled to see how many people are interested participating in a CTF event. To make these as fun as possible its going to take a couple of organizers to help me come up with challenges as well as set up the environments. So this post is for those who want to be a part of that team. The drawback is that being on this team disqualifies you from participating, but it will make you a referee of sorts.

Forum Thread: Null-Byte Capture the Flag

This started as a very unofficial set up while on the IRC channel and there was some interest in holding a capture the flag event. I wanted to post and see if there was both enough interest, and to make sure it was carried out in a legal and null-byte compliant way. If you have interest in participating or want to make me aware of any necessary rules or precautions I need to take please send me a PM.

Forum Thread: If Meterpreter Gets Stuck on Sending Stage, Is Exploit Not Compatible with Victim System?

I am using a veil evasion exploit that is embedded inside a Excel document, and is not detected by AV. I have tested it myself on different WAN computers(windows only) and it has worked perfectly, but now I tried to execute on on another computer(the victim a friend, knowingly doing it) but I asked him not to tell me if he has a MAC or Windows Comptuer. If it worked on windows before with WAN computers, can I assume since it is stuck on the sending stage that the exploit is not compatible and...

Forum Thread: payload_inject and Processes Shown in Meterpreter

Hi. I have gotten a meterpreter session on my W8.1 x64 machine. I cant use getsystem and some other good stuff and i figured it was because of the meterpreter being x86. So I wanted to use payload inject to get a x64 meterpreter instead, which failed because it could not get a proper PID. When i use ps in meterpreter it shows very little processes. Where am I going wrong?
