What's good, peeps? I've been noticing some rather advanced tutorials slowly emerging here on Null Byte and I know that people want more of them but I've been reluctant to post something of such caliber because I fear that the information will just go over their heads, but hey, as long as it's there, people can always go off to research themselves and eventually understand. So here is my contribution to the gradual and inevitable progression of Null Byte!

Is it just me or does metasploit dominate the hacking world? It seems that on this forum its all bout using metasploit to use a exploit or using a reverse shell (payload) to hack a operating system. I thought that his was a newbie tool that doesnt work on anyone with a decent AV .

I am using metasploit v4.11.22 on kali linux 2016 .when i creat a payload with msfvenom by using my external ip address and creat a Listner on msfconsle it took very long time after clicking on backdoor file and when i entered command "sysinfo" it said unkonwn command.then after 15 seconds an error comes ."Meterpreter session will closed : reason died...??

I'm a Engineering Computer student and last week my programming professor offered me a "Science Iniciation" (how we say here in Brazil when a student starts a project with some professor). His idea is to build a web manager/monitoring system for the University's cluster, something like the Ganglia (http://ganglia.info/ ). I'm about to accept the offer but the thing is: I'm not sure how I'll collect the datas from the nodes (Ubuntu Server) through network using C/C++.

Hi I just purchase a Windows 2008 server and add a new administrator user and I have also disable the main administrator....and I have a firewall and everything but the ports opened that are open on my server are of concern to me...when I first did a nmap scan there were only three ports uh let me see if I can remember this right....It was port 3389 which is RDP and its filtered then 5904 which is the vnc port that I connect to and last I think it was the either 111 rcbind or 19 filtered...
