BeEF is a swiss army knife for that kind of attack... I can't think of something I needed and beef didn't have. The only drawback is that the hook is often detected by antivirus, so for simple tasks you might want to write a custom payload specific for the attack and inject with mitmf.
It would be interesting to know if anyone has in mind a feature that beef is lacking.
I agree, the only thing the inject function should be used for is BeEf. It does everything and hey,, why fix something that isn't broken?
