Hello everyone

Recently I got my hands on a .m3u file which from what I learned includes some channels (paid+free) which y can stream from and see without have to pay the company owns the channels a monthly fee instead pay the guy who has hacked them to give you access to the channels for less money. So how exactly does this works? can be reversed engineering to the source and take for example admin passwords or anything else?
