Forum Thread: Make a Bootable USB Stick of OS X???

I am a Windows user. But now I want to use OS X on my laptop. I got the setup but got no clue how to install it. I gave many tries nevertheless wasnt able to get it done. It doesnt even show in the Boot menu.

It isn't that simple. OS X doesn't play nice with most hardware configurations, so there is a 99% chance that you won't be able to run it on your laptop. Even if you do get it to run on your laptop, it is unlikely that you will have everything working (such as sleep, power off, wifi, fans, etc.). If you are really interested in doing this, a non-Apple computer that runs OS X is called a "hackintosh" and there is a huge community for it. The process is complicated, but Lifehacker keeps a guide called "The Always Up-to-Date Guide to Building a Hackintosh". I suggest you start there.

its a thing ive been meaning to set up as a victim for testing thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

ooo thanks NEXXIUS

Alternatively you could try Linux.
