That is an IRC chat. There are many different programs to do this, but most of them aren't terminal-based. They do have them, though. :)

The IRC client he used in the show is a popular one called BitchX. You may already have it. Try:

• ~$> bitchx your_username irc.server.domain.name

If you don't have it, you can install it with:

• ~$> sudo apt-get install bitchx

in my linux i cant install apt-get install bitchx

If its kali maybe you should update your sources file.
