Forum Thread: How to encypt an existing partition without losing data?

I have been using kali live usb in persistence mode for a while now. But now I want to add encryption to it so I can boot the same persistence storage through the 'Kali live usb encrypted persistence' option in the boot menu, and no one can use it without the password. Is there a way I can add encryption to my persistence without losing the data?
