Forum Thread: How to Set a Static IP in Kali Linux Rolling

So, I am trying to set a static IP in Kali Linux Rolling.How am I supposed to do this? I have tried editing etc/network/interfaces,but it only shows this:

# and how to activate them. For more information, see interfaces(5).

source /etc/network/interfaces.d/*

# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback.
