Forum Thread: Metasploit 4.11.5 Is Here

Hello, hello friends.

I just wanted to put it out there that metasploit has released a new version, 4.11.5. To see what version you are running, type:

msfconsole -v

Running msfupdate does not update you to this newest version however, you need to install metasploits nightly installer. Its a very simple script you can find at:

I was having a lot of problems running exploits recently and that was the reason why. I didn't realize msfupdate wouldn't necessarily update you to the latest release.
