Forum Thread: How to Send Link with Meterpreter Backdoor Outside LAN

After preparing Meterpreter exploit how could you send link to the victim if it is outside your LAN?

set up a web server and put the payload in the html directory?

Or port forward your IP , via config on your router.

I know this is actually not what you asked for but I guess it is what you actually wanted? Because sending a link cannot be the problem?

Thanks for replies. Indeed my question is what is the best way to send the payload. I think ideally should be a link in am email which if being clicked will open the backdoor. So perhaps own web server is the best option...
