Forum Thread: VMware on Kali Linux Configuration?

So I have successfully installed vmware on kali however when i run it it asks for a location of Kernal Headers. What are they and where can i find them?

Are you trying to install vmware tools? Are you getting an error? What exactly do you need them for.

you need to use
apt-get install linux-kernel-{uname-r}-header, i don't remember the exact
name
